Cold Stones are a great way to incorporate the hot vs cold therapy often utilized in hydrotherapy where by hot relaxes while cold stimulates.
The combination can be very energizing. Using light colored stones for the cold therapy increases the power of the therapy because lighter colors retain cooler temperatures longer. While darker colors retain hotter temperatures longer.
At the end of a session, cool stones could then be placed on the pulse points for revitalizing, rejuvenating and release the “soaring spirit”. They are wonderful for the eyes for reducing dark circles and puffiness.
