The craze. The Trend. The Slime. Kids go crazy and parents 1.2.3 GET PUMPED because it’s so cheap, quick, and fun to make! The littles and I have been on a vigilant hunt the past year to find the PERFECT recipe….One that doesn’t break apart, isn’t too gooey, last for over a month….Last week we found it the CHACHING of perfect mixture amounts and additives to create the PERFECT GOOEY GOODNESS. Of course I had to share it with my fellow mammas! Lets dive in and make some awesomeness!

What you will need to buy…….

  • Elmers Glue
  • Food Coloring or Glitter Additives (My son used plastic flies from the dollar tree.)
  • Borax
  • Water
  • Slime Foam Balls – Michael’s $2.50

Step 1. Get out two bowls. In the first Bowl mix one cup of HOT water and 1/2 tsp of Borax *DO NOT ADD MORE it will get crunchy and itchy on hands.*

Step 2. Set the first bowl aside.

Step 3. Bowl two….Mix one full container of Elmers Glue (6-8 oz.) with 1/2 cup of water. Use a whisk or fork and stir together til a creamy substance. After consistency is on point you can add glitter, food coloring, additives, (get creative you can’t mess up this step!)

Step 4. Combine the 2 bowls together. Pour Bowl 1 into bowl 2 and use YOUR HANDS to mix together! (you will have a solid amount of water left over underneath but once slime begins to form take out of the bowl and work with your hands for about 4-5 minutes.)

Step 5. Find a mason jar or container to store your product when done creating and playing so it does not dry out. (I always add about a mm of water at the bottom of jar to create freshness and longevity!)

Happy Sliming Friends!!!!
