In this episode we talk all about how to switch up your routine to the traditional Ayurveda. These simple steps are truly life changing when it comes to your body chemistry and energy levels. This is a 5,000 year old system of medicine based on the belief that every day choices can create ease or DIS – Ease in your life. These are habits which are so easy to pick up in your day to day lifestyle.
1.Wake up at the same time everyday. (I recommend between 5:00-6:00 a.m.)
2.Drink warm lemon water before any other beverage in the morning to wake up your digestive system. I also talk about a great supplement which has so many amazing ingredients to sub out for your coffee if this is a goal of yours – you can find it here
3.Tongue scrape & brush teeth. (If you don’t have a tongue scraper yet, the back of a spoon works great for the mean time.)
4. Oil Pulling.
5.Empty the magical unicorn glitter – aka poop
6.Rinse your face with cold water.
7.Move that body – get your work out on.
8.Dry Skin Brush before shower
9. Massage with oils.
10. Prayer – Meditation. Begin the Day READY (Now you can pick up your phone.)
